Our staff can help with batteries, wax guards, hearing aid drop-off for service, cleanings, and many common issues any weekday — no appointment needed. To see Dr. Pitt, an appointment is strongly preferred: he may not be on site, and we can't guarantee every issue can be handled without one.

Yes. The Hazlehurst office is open Monday, Thursday & Friday 8:00am–5:00pm and Tuesday & Wednesday 9:00am–5:00pm, and walk-ins are welcome any time we're open. Yes — Dr. Pitt accepts Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield, and many other plans, and as a courtesy we file insurance claims for you. Insurance participation can vary by plan, plan year, and provider, and every policy is different — so it is ultimately each patient's responsibility to know the terms of their individual policy, including deductibles, copays, and covered services. Any amount not paid by insurance remains the patient's responsibility. Not sure what your plan covers? Call us before your visit and we'll help you check your benefits.
No — a referral is not required, and not having one should never stop you from scheduling. That said, referrals are helpful: if your doctor can provide one, either bring the paper referral with you or ask their office to fax it to us at 912-296-0212 — most local physicians already have our fax number on file. Either way, we'll get you on the schedule.
